WEIR (Troon) – Obituary

Peacefully at University Hospital, Crosshouse on the 20th February 2025. William L. Weir (Bill), dearly loved husband of Margaret, loved brother of Jim, devoted father of Elaine, David and Kenneth, father-in-law of Edmund, Alison and Joanne, loving Grandpa to his grandchildren, cousin, uncle and friend to many. The funeral service will be held at Masonhill Crematorium, Ayr on Friday 14th March 2025 at 12 noon followed by a service in Portland sanctuary, Troon at 1 pm. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, may be given to Cancer Research UK and Canine Partners For Independence Ltd.

Peacefully at Templeton House Care Home on Friday 14th of February 2025. Davina Law, aged 89 years. Devoted wife of her late husband Robert Law and dearly loved Mum of David. BLAIKIE (Ayr) – Obituary

It is with deep sadness that the family of George Blaikie announce his passing on the 5th February 2025 at the Biggart Hospital. Loving husband of Marion, much loved Dad of Alan & Victoria and devoted Papa to Charlotte & George. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. MCGOWAN (Ayr) – Obituary

Peacefully at Ayr Hospital on 5th January 2025, Sheriff John McGowan “Jack” aged 80 years. Much loved husband of Elise, dear father of Kenneth and Christopher (Jack) and devoted grandfather of Maya and Neil. HEMMINGS (Alloway) – Obituary

Peacefully on 13th November 2024, Luise Hemmings aged 98 years. Much loved wife of the late Douglas and a dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday 27th November at Alloway Church at 12.30pm

Peacefully at Queens View Harbour Care Home, Troon on Friday 8th November 2024, Ann Blower aged 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Frederick, a loving mother to Linda, Aileen and Gordon, a dear gran to Patrick, Shona, Angus, Max and Euan, and great gran to Kayla and Eva. The Funeral will take place on Friday 29th November 2024, at Knadgerhill Cemetery at 11.15am and thereafter a service at Fullarton Church, Irvine at 12noon to which all are respectfully invited.
