Peacefully at Ayr Hospital on 2nd April 2024, after a long illness, Michael MacDonald aged 85 years. Much loved Husband of Sylvia and a dear Brother of Jean and the late Jim & Gordon. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday 16th April 2024 at Masonhill Crematorium at 2.45pm to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

Passed away at home on Thursday 21 March, 2024, aged 67 years. Beloved husband of Betty (Maitland), loving Dad to Blair and Scott, much loved by their partners Sophie and Nicola. Dearly loved Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle, and friend. Funeral service to take place at Masonhill Crematorium – Tuesday 2 April at 10.30am. All family and friends welcome.

Blair Hampton Anderson on 17th March 2024, died peacefully at home in Prestwick. Much loved by his partner Jan and brother Ian, and all of his friends and family including his three grandchildren. A private funeral service is being held on 27th March for close family. This will be followed by a celebration of his life at his second home, Royal Troon Golf Club No flowers please. Those who wish to are welcome to make a donation in Blair’s name to the Ayrshire Hospice.

The family of the late Hugh Limond have appreciated all the support and sympathy given by their family, friends and local community following the loss of their dad. Many thanks to those who attended the funeral, particularly to Rev Gerald Jones for his personal and meaningful service and to Kirkmichael Community Café for providing a lovely tea in a fitting setting.

It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon HERVEY announces his peaceful passing at the Suncourt Care Home, Troon, on 22 February 2024, aged 90. He will be greatly missed by his children Fiona, Alison, Colin and Douglas and their spouses, and lovingly remembered by his eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife Irene, to whom he had been happily married for 61 years. Gordon was a kind and caring man who served the community of Troon for many years through his work as a Church Elder and Treasurer at Portland Church and as Trustee for the Marr Trust.
