CAMPBELL (Ayr) – Acknowledgement

Nan and family would like to thank family, friends, neighbours, ex colleagues and the fire service for their messages of condolence and floral tributes, which were of such comfort and greatly appreciated on our sad loss.The family would also like to thank Brian, Linda and Claire from Armours Funeral service for their help and support through such a difficult time.

DOODSON (Troon) – Obituary

William Stewart Porter Doodson died peacefully on 7 July 2021 aged 86 after a short illness. Beloved husband of the late Jean Lochore Doodson (nee Westbury), loving dad to Karen (Turner), Helen and Gordon and Pampa to Heather and Alison. A private service will be held at Portland Church on 21 July. The cortège will arrive at 2pm if you wish to pay your final respects.

HAY (Coylton) – Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Hugh Hay of Coylton announce his passing on Friday 2nd July 2021 at Ayr Hospital. Hugh will be greatly missed by all his family & friends around the world. Suddenly at home on Friday 18th June, Robert Campbell aged 63 years. Much loved husband of Nan, loving father to Harry, loved father-in-law of Louise and devoted papa to Sydni, Andi and Lottie. Funeral Service to be held at Masonhill Crematorium on Friday 9th July 2021 at 10.30am. Invited guests only. those wishing to pay their last respects please be mindful of coronavirus guidelines. No flowers please, if desired donations to the British Heart Foundation Scotland.

GOODWIN (Annbank) – Obituary

At Crosshouse Hospital on 14th June 2021, Hugh Green Goodwin. A much loved Brother of Margaret, Agnes and Ina and a loving Uncle and Great Uncle.

GILLIES (Ayr) – Obituary

Peacefully in the comforting care of the Redford Nursing Home on the 6th June 2021, Nora Gillies aged 98 years. Much loved wife of the late Jimmy Gillies, loving mother of Jim, mother in law of Maureen, nana of Steven and Scott and great-gran of Jamie. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday 17th June at Masonhill Crematorium at 12noon.

ALEXANDER (Ayr) – Acknowledgement

Lynn, Coia and Mason would like to thank all family, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy on the devastating loss of Ian (Scooter). Grateful thanks to all of the dedicated staff at the oncology ward at Ross Hall Hospital, Glasgow GP’s, district nurses and Ayrshire Hospice nurses for their care, support and kindness. Brian Armour and staff for their excellent care and professionalism throughout and to the helpful staff at the Horizon Hotel, Ayr. Lastly a special thanks to all who stood outside our home to pay their respects and to all who came to the crematorium. Donations were gathered for Cancer Research UK in Ian’s memory.
