WALKER (Ayr) – Obituary

Andrew (Andy) 08/03/65 – 29/09/21 (aged 56) Sadly, Andy passed away peacefully, after a long fight against a recurring brain tumour. Much loved partner of Linda, beloved son of Pam and the late Brian, loving brother to Sarah and devoted uncle to Claire and Alison. Funeral at Masonhill Crematorium, Ayr on Friday 8th October at 4.15pm to which all are welcome to join us. Family flowers only, donations to the Ayrshire Hospice.

MCCOLGAN (Ayr) – Acknowledgement

Mary and family would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for their prayers, cards, flowers and kind expressions of sympathy received following their sudden sad bereavement. Mary is also very grateful to Fr. David Borland for an uplifting service and to all who attended Johnnie’s funeral. Thanks to Armours Funeral Service and the Fairfield Hotel.

MCMAHON (Ayr) – Obituary

Peacefully at Heathfield House Nursing home on 5th October, aged 80. Wife to the late George McMahon, leaving behind daughters Catherine and Helen, sons-in-law David and Garry and much loved grandchildren Stephen, Kerry and Kieran. Funeral service at Masonhill Crematorium, Ayr on Friday 15th October at 2pm.

McMillan (Coylton) – Obituary

Beloved wife of the late Leslie McMillan passed away peacefully in Templeton House, Ayr on Saturday 25th September 2021. Dearly loved by all her family. Family and friends are respectfully invited to the Funeral Service on Tuesday 5th October 2021 at Masonhill Crematorium at 2.45pm.

Howes (Troon) – Obituary

Suddenly but peacefully at home on Friday 24th September 2021, Raymond aged 94 years. Beloved husband of Joan (deceased) and father of Christine. A much loved father, and grandpa. Private cremation. Service of celebration of a long life at Portland Church, Troon Thursday 7th October at 3:15 pm. To which all family and friends are cordially invited. Donations in lieu of flowers to Chest, Heart and Stroke, Scotland.

McColgan (Ayr) – Obituary

Suddenly but peacefully at home on Friday 24th September 2021. Johnnie aged 90 years. Beloved husband of Mary. A much loved Dad, Papa, Brother, Auld Papa and Father in Law. Sadly missed. Family and friends are respectfully invited to the Funeral Mass at St, Margaret’s Cathedral, Ayr on Tuesday 5th October 2021 at 10am thereafter to  Ayr Cemetery arriving at 11.15am.

Peacefully at Ayr Hospital on 16th September 2021, Francis Nelson aged 84 years. Much loved wife of Michael and a dear mother of Michael Jnr, mother in law of Joanne and gran of Matthew. Funeral service to take place at Masonhill Crematorium, Ayr on Tuesday 28th September 2021 at 11.15am.

YOUNG (Ayr) – Obituary

Peacefully in Crosshouse Hospital on Saturday 11th September 2021, Elizabeth Young (nee Donald) aged 95. Beloved wife of the late Letham Young (late of Bonnanhill Farm, Strathaven), much loved mum, gran, and great gran of all the family. The funeral service will take place at Masonhill Crematorium, Ayr on Friday 24th September 2021 at 2pm, to which all family and friends are warmly invited. Family flowers only please.

MCLEOD (Ayr) – Obituary

Stewart Walter Cochran Mcleod was a caring partner, brother, son, uncle, father, and friend who left this world suddenly at age 50 on September 17th, 2021. From his diagnosis in mid-2020 with rare cancer, he showed courage, bravery, and strength through to the end, willing to assist medical research in any way he could, and proud knowing his battle might benefit the lives of others someday. He was born to loving mother Margo on December 21st, 1970. He lived in many places throughout his life; starting in Kilwinning, ending in Ayr, and making many dear friends and memories along the way. A funeral service is scheduled for 4:15 pm on September 27th, 2021 at the Masonhill Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Macmillan Cancer Support or Maggie’s Glasgow in Stewart’s memory.
